Located on Main Street in downtown Broken Arrow, Main Street Tavern sits on a busy corner inviting patrons in for a relaxing break. Opened in 2011, the restaurant/bar is a staple to the area, but feels like it has been there for decades. Scarpa was careful to maintain the essence of its former glory days by installing a rich, dark brown tin ceiling, industrial light fixtures and duct work, custom bar, and restoring the statuesque windows and concrete floor. The menu is upscale American pub food. There are the usual suspects, such as burgers and fries, meatloaf, mac and cheese, steak, fish and chips, sandwiches and soups. But the executive chef, Tyler Gonzalez, explains that sometimes the best thing you can do for food is to do less to it.
